Wister is a singer/songwriter from northeast of Brazil that in 2019 celebrates a career of 12 years old
He started his musical career in early 2004, at the time he used to play base guitar on local bands of his city, João Pessoa, state of Paraíba. But just in 2005 he started to sing, when a group of coleagues recorded him while they doing some mic testing on a studio where Wister used to work.
He launched three albums until now, the first one Novos Rabiscos (2007) has 10 tracks that goes from reggae to his first english composition, a blues named Just to Say.After eight years since the first album launche Wister releases Eu daqui (2015) a small album with just 8 tracks that shows all his pation with Brazilian folk music.
His more recent album, c)asa (2018), was released in august 2018 and was produced by Bem Gil, producer of important names of Brazilian music like Gilberto Gil, Jorge Mautner, Roberta Sá and Adriana Calcanhoto.
c)asa has 10 tracks all composed and written by Wister and a partinership with Lusi Kiari on the song Isso me Fará. This album is on some important lists as Revista Bula and the RedBull Brasil as one of the best of Brazilian music of 2018.
